After a phase of rooms and pillars exploitation, the terminal stopping of the ore layer was made in 1966, quickly leading to the total collapse of the overlying grounds. Despite a dense bolting of its ceiling, the 338 m base level drift endured very strong pressures, causing many damages and a large reduction of its section.
