Sentein Bocard washery
On the place of very old works, the pyreneans mines of Sentein were exploited by several successive companies from the second half of the 19th century to 1953 for lead and zinc lodes.
The mining works are spread out in mountain, between 1650 and 2100 m of height, and connected by cable railway with the washery, situated in bottom of valley in 900 m of height.
This place is the last one in France to show an almost complete lead and zinc washery.
