I am not sure how it is named in english - and not sure where it is still in use. In Poland sand and dirt is being delivered to coal mines for filling excavated corridors in coal mines. Less and less coal mines is using this way. Near my home there 4 bridges in use and this one belongs to coal mine Wieczorek - pithead Poniatowski is in the back. This coal mine got 2 bridges, next time I will post photo of it.

I really wonder how it looks in other countries. Do you have any photos?
