110kV Transformer
The most seen transformer in a outdoor substation is the 110kV / 30kV transformer. I know that the background with the trees is not optimal but its always difficult to take a photo with less overhead lines, poles and so on. I choose this perspective because of the clear view on its function. You can see the three phase from the 110kV which lead into the transformer from the busbars above the transformer. The 30kV leads from the transformer to the framework on the right side, and from their via cables to a 30kV indoor substation. I hope the explanation wasn't to boring ;-)
