This is a painting that I completed a while ago. It is not from a photograph, but from memory. I am very influenced by the work of J.M. Turner. The medium is tar, asphaltum, oil on paper, mounted on wood and shellacked. Copper Leaf was added in some areas.
I had a lot of fun working with this painting.
