Halberg-Guß, Verwaltungsbau. ~ Halber casting, administration building

Die heutige Firma Halberg-Guss wurde 1983-1986 von einer japanischen Firma auf einer Freifläche an der Merseburger Straße errichtet. Damals gehörte sie zum Metallguß Leipzig, Kombinat Gisag. Produziert wurden und werden teile für den Fahrzeugbau: Motorblöcke, Zylinderköpfe, Krümmer. Durch die Krise im Automobilbau wurde die Firma im Juni 2009 insolvent, ist aber noch in Betrieb.
Ich zeige demnächst noch ein Bild, wo man zumindest etwas von den Produktionsanlagen sieht.

The factory was builded from a Japanese company in 1983-86. The products are casting components for cars. It belonged to the GISAG group until 1990.
Because of the crisis in the automobile industry Halberg got insolvent in 2009. But it is still in work.
I'll show an other photo with some more tchnical details in the near future.
