If you like the blast furnaces and haven't been to Brazil you don't like them enough.
Fergubel in Matozinhos (50km north of Belo Horizonte) is one of dozens and dozens running charcoal mini blast furnaces in the country. I have visited some of them during my June tour.
This beauty was built in 2006 and has capacity 140m3.
