Zeche Gneisenau
1982 war Derne noch ein echtes Dortmunder Bergbau-Revier, in dem die Zeche Gneisenau das dominierende Zentrum war. Nach Stilllegung 1985 (Kokerei 1989) versank der Stadtteil in die Bedeutungslosigkeit.
