Quartier de l'Union, Roubaix

The "Quartier de l'Union" in Roubaix (once the textile capitol in France) was a district mainly composed of houses of workers. Almost of this district became progressively vacant and demolition began some years ago to revitalize the area.
This picture shows the "Leroux Fr?res" factory in demolition (in march 2005) with almost vacant workers house in the back.
