Rijstpellerij "De Mercurius"

Former rice-husking plant De Mercurius (former gebr. Laan) at the Zaan in Wormer. The history of the complex dates back to 1893. Near the water from the left to right the storehouses Silo, Donau and Koningsbergen. The white silo with the name Lassie on it dates back from 1910. At the right the building Mercurius that dates back from 1919 and houses at the moment the archaeological collection of the province.
Lassie was part of the Sare Lee group and belongs now to the Spanish Groupo SOS.
